I am on the night shift for the first time in the Korea times building...Reading a few articles.. This one's first line reads " South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun would not hold a summit with Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi unless he promises to stop visiting the controversial Yasukuni Shrine, Chong Wa Dae said yesterday."
The Yasukuni Shine is one which honors 14 class A WWII war criminals (and also thousands of others killed in the war)... real nice guys I bet.
I just edited one about a government official who murdered his wife with a neck tie.
oh my! I just corrected a quote from the President of Korea. (The quotes get translated and so are sometimes messed up.) This is clearly the most important edit I have made all day! I'm happy to be here and happy to be learning about all these things given that I didn't know who the president of Korea was a week ago.. now I am learning about his golfing habits.
Anyways, loyal readers, please leave comments and send email, or else I sing my song to only empty space.

I am glad you know who the president is too.
Your blog is read avidly by all family members and others too! The space is not empty by any measure...the blog is checked daily and when something new is up a call is rung out to others to come see....
please keep the entries coming!!!

p.s. maybe you could help with Bush's translations- his wording doesn't seem quite right either
