at school

things are good... I love the little kids cause they do whatever I say, and they are still excited to learn. The older ones I have to threaten, its sad I know.. Some days Pink Floyd's the Wall runs ceaselessly through my head, (We don't need no Education, we don't need no thought control, no dark sarcasm in the class room, teacher leave them kids alone...) So I am making sure that I am nice even when I must draw the line, and as Mr Davies said, "just don't act out of anger." I guess the hardest part is using discipline in the right ways.. I don't like punishing kids, but I am figuring out how to do it so that I don't just get mad and snap at them, which I must have done once or twice... confronted with 20 middle school boys who have been in school all day, well, i am trying to channel their energy into learning but they would rather pick on each other..

I saw the best Korean game show on TV the other day. It has about 7 contestants sitting in a row in on the floor, and two hosts saying things occasionally. The point of the game seems to involve two contestants doing rock paper scissors, and then 7 shiny stainless steel disks which are suspended from the ceiling drop down and hit everyone on the head.

Also, Dave is coming in ten days for a visit! hes stopping off in his round the world trip, you can see his blog at http://dukeofjoe.blogspot.com

More pictures to come as I figured out more tricks to get em online
